The second day of the Fifth Warmia and Mazury Ultrasound Scanning Days was the continuation of the topic dealing with mistakes in USG diagnostics. However, this time we focus on the diagnostics of abdominal cavity organs. The first lecture of the day on the mistakes in USG diagnostics of the liver, bile duct and spleen was given by Ireneusz Gierbliński MD, who substituted the absent lecturer Maria Kruszyna Walas MD. During the entire day the participants did not restrict themselves to listening only. They asked a lot of questions none of which was left without the answer.
During the coffee break intensive discussions were carried out including the news in the market of ultrasound scanners. DRAMINSKI had a chance to present their equipment. A lot of people were interested in the equipment and the ultrasound scanners caused genuine excitement.
The Fifth Warmia and Mazury Ultrasound Scanning Days did not include the lectures only. During the breaks those who were interested could get the news from the medical literature which was available for everyone on the stands near the conference-room. At the reception desk, however, the guests had a chance to have a closer look at one of our hobbies – diving. Mr Janusz Draminski and his wife Alicja’s album was full of pictures of wonderful underwater trips, which the visitors could admire.
After the lectures had finished the participants of the conference took part in a gala dinner. At the tables the guests continued professional and personal discussions. When a DJ started playing the music, dancing couples appeared.
