The last day of the Fifth Warmia and Mazury Ultrasound Scanning Days continued the issues raised by the lectures on the previous days. The first lecture of the day was given by Paweł Andruszkiewicz, a holder of a Doctoral degree in Medicine, who touched upon a very important question of mistakes in USD diagnostics when one’s life is in danger. The further lectures given by Agnieszka Brodisz MD-PhD and Małgorzata Serafin-Król MD-PhD focused on pediatrics and the motor system.
At the end of the conference some clinic examples with commentaries were presented. The last word was pronounced by professor Wiesław Jakubowski who summed up the Fifth Warmia and Mazury Ultrasound Scanning Days. All the participants were given certificates of the Polish Ultrasound Scanning Society and Medical Association confirming the attendance and gained points during the meeting.
Some doctors who were interested in this ultrasound scanning branch took part in the workshop on USG testing of the skin in aesthetic medicine and cosmetology. The listeners had a chance to learn the principles of USG devices using high frequency work, familiarized themselves with the history of ultrasound scanners development and had a chance to take practical lessons using DRAMINSKI DermaView ultrasound scanner.
